The effect on serum prolactin levels throughout the day, of a single 2.5 mg oral dose of bromocriptine at 0900 is shown. Case one is the patient whose visual held chart and CT scans are shown in Figs. 4.19 and 4.20, respectively. Case two is a patient with a similar problem. In patients such as these, even when prolactin levels do not come down to the normal range, gonadal function is usually restored.
